Hi, I’m Mike Cohn.
About 20 years ago, when Agility was new, I was one of the founders of the Agile Alliance and Scrum Alliance, I never dreamed that what began as a small user group in 2002 would grow to become a global phenomenon.
I had exactly two people in my first Scrum Master course. Today there are over a million certified Scrum Masters worldwide, in countries from the U.S to Germany, to South Africa, to Australia, and yes, to Taiwan.
Scrum teaches people the power of teamwork and the power of distributed decision-making. We give people the principles and practices they need to adapt to changing times like we’ve all experienced over the past several years and times yet to come.
As we begin to feel the impact of global climate change and volatile political movements, I want to encourage you to start or further your own journey to agility by attending the Regional Scrum Gathering in Taipei, November 4th through the 6th.
