Lyssa Adkins

Lyssa Adkins is a coach, facilitator, teacher and inspirer.

Her current focus is improving the performance of top leadership teams through insightful facilitation and organization systems coaching. Making difficult decisions faster and with clear alignment, unknotting challenging multi-department impediments, creating the conditions for smooth organizational delivery, helping leaders take up the “Agile transformation” that is theirs to make…this is where she thrives and helps thrive.

She has been pleased to serve the emergence of Agile Coaching as a profession. In 2010, she co-founded the Agile Coaching Institute which has developed over 10,000 people in the knowledge, skills and being-ness needed to yield genuinely competent agile coaching. Since 2011, she has been a member of the ICAgile working committee that defines the learning objectives for Agile Facilitation and Coaching and she assesses candidates for the ICAgile-Expert in Agile Coaching competence-based certification. She has also served the Scrum Alliance as an application reviewer for the Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) designation.

She is the author of Coaching Agile Teams which, as a top ranking Agile book, was released as an audiobook in its 10th year.

Lyssa holds an alphabet soup of certifications: ICAgile Expert in Agile Coaching (ICE-AC), Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach Emeritus (CEC-E), International Coach Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Organization and Relationship Systems Certified Coach (ORSCC) and Certified Integral Facilitator (IF). She is also a trained Co-Active Coach and Leader.

Roman Pichler

Roman Pichler is a leading product management expert specialised in product strategy, leadership, and agility.

He has advised product leaders and he has taught product managers and product owners for more than 15 years. Roman has pioneered agile product management practices, and he has developed a range of models, methods, and tools to help organisations create successful products.

Roman shares his knowledge through his training courses, his four books, his popular blog, podcast, and talks, and his product management tools, including his widely used product vision board and GO product roadmap. When he’s not busy with work, Roman enjoys spending time with his family, cycling in the Chiltern hills, playing the tenor saxophone, and helping with family events at Amaravati Buddhist monastery.

Roman is based in Wendover, near London in the UK.

Geoff Watts

Geoff Watts is the UK’s first Certified Scrum Trainer (2005) and Certified Agile Coach, offering training and coaching in Scrum.

Starting his agile journey at British Telecom and helping lead one of the largest agile transformations so far before moving into various industries such as publishing, financial services, pharmaceuticals, utilities, education and online service providers, he is one of the most experienced Scrum coaches in the UK and, therefore, best placed to give you the greatest chance of success when adopting Scrum in your organisation.

As well as offering innovative and engaging public training classes, Geoff also offers personal 121 leadership coaching and regularly coaches ScrumMasters, Product Owners and leaders within organisations looking to become more agile or better servant-leaders.

Geoff is a TEDx speaker and the author of the best-selling agile books Scrum Mastery: From Good to Great Servant-Leadership available on Amazon in the USA and Europe, Product Mastery: From Good to Great Product Ownership available on Amazon in the USA and Europe and the best-selling coaching book The Coach’s Casebook: Mastering The Twelve Traits That Trap Us available on Amazon in the USA and Europe.

Geoff’s agile books have been translated into German and all of Geoff’s books are available as eBooks and Audiobooks.

Geoff has the most active and popular YouTube channel in the agile community with over 100 videos offering free advice, insights and conference presentations.

Dave West

Dave West is the Product Owner and CEO at scrum.org. In this capacity, he engages with partners, and the community to drive scrum.org’s strategy and the overall market position of Scrum.

Prior to joining the Ken Schwaber and the team at Scrum.org he was Chief Product Officer at Tasktop where he was responsible for product management, engineering and architecture. As a member of the company’s executive management team was also instrumental in growing Tasktop from a services business into a VC backed product business with a team of almost 100.As one of the foremost industry experts on software development and deployment, West has helped advance many modern software development processes, including the Unified process and Agile methods.

He is a frequent keynote at major industry conferences and is a widely published author of articles and research reports. He also is the co-author of two books, The Nexus Framework For Scaling Scrum and Head First Object-Oriented Analysis and Design. He led the development of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) for IBM/Rational.

After IBM/Rational, West returned to consulting and managed Ivar Jacobson Consulting for North America. Then he served as vice president, research director at Forrester Research, where he worked with leading IT organizations and solutions providers to define, drive and advance Agile-based methodology and tool breakthroughs in the enterprise.
